
Sara Evans has only had only one dream in her life she has always wanted to compose and sing country music. Evans is quoted as saying, "God has put me on the earth in order to be a singer." According to John Meroney from American Enterprise. "It's what I love to perform more than anything else, and I'm going to be successful at it." Evans also wanted to be successful by returning to the traditional style of country music that was influenced by famous artists like Patsy Cline and Hank Snow. Also, she was influenced to some extent by George Jones, Tammy Wynette as well as Patty Loveless. Evans' first success came during the 90s, when a lot of new country singers began to turn towards pop songs. The debut album she released in 1997, True Lies, was a prime example. True Lies, though it got a positive review and was nominated by the Academy of Country Music for the top female vocalist of 1998 but failed to create an impression. Evans released her next album was in the year 1999. No Place That Far was a result of bowing to producers that convinced that she needed to expand her repertoire. She finally received the recognition that she has been wishing for ever from the time she was young. Sara Evans was born February 5th, 1971 at Columbia, Missouri. Sara Evans spent the early stages of her life alongside her brothers and sisters.
