Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes (born in 1982) is an American actress popular for her portrayal of detective Stella Bonasera in the CBS crime procedural drama series 'CSI: NY', as Dr. Sydney Hansen on the NBC drama"Providence" and Dr. Lane Hunter on the"The Resident," a medical drama'. She also received applause for her first television character on the CBS soap opera Guide Light as Eleni Cooper. Some of her notable films include '15 Minutes 'Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief and "Snitch". There is speculation that she's developing a movie adaptation of the autobiography written by writer Elisabeth K.
